Mette Edvardsen is a choreographer and performer. Although some of her works explore other media or other formats, such as video, books and writing, her interest is always in their relationship to performance as a practice and a situation. A current research fellow at Oslo National Academy of the Arts and associated artist at Black Box teater in Oslo. Mette was a member of the jury for KCA 2020.
Lucy Guerin AO , is a contemporary dancer and choreographer born in Adelaide, Australia. She began her professional dance career with Russell Dumas' company in 1983. In 1989 Lucy moved to New York and until 1996 she danced with a variety of companies and choreographers including Tere O'Connor Dance and the Bebe Miller Company. During her time in the inspiring city of New York, Lucy started choreographing individually, beginning with solos for her own dancing and then moving on to group dances. Lucy established her company, Lucy Guerin Inc, in 2002, which has a studio in North Melbourne. Her works have toured widely locally and internationally.
